The Forest of Dean is the ideal place to spend the week or even the day, and due to its unique geographical location can offer something for everyone. There are many activities available to the outdoor enthusiast, such as canoeing on the River Wye, caving, clay pigeon shooting or paintballing. A popular activity is the Family Cycle Trail, which consists of twelve miles of way marked, surfaced tracks.
